Can't read my . . .

On Sunday night, I got together with a bunch friends from work for Sunday Funday, which we try to do every time we have a day off on a Monday.

So one thing we did was go to a theater event called "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind," which is an ever-changing series of 30 plays in 60 minutes. The small cast writes a whole bunch of short plays, most of which are very funny, some of which are very serious. The actors hang numbers from 1-30 from a clothesline across the stage, and the audience shouts out a number. On the back of each number is the title of one of the plays, so whichever one they grab, that's the one that gets performed. Then they yell curtain, and someone else yells a number, and they start a new play. The goal is to get through all 30 plays in 60 minutes. Each week, the cast replaces some of the plays with new ones. so every couple of months, the whole show is different. Good fun.

And when you enter the theater, you tell someone your name, and you get a name tag saying something else entirely. My friend Katie was "High Boots," someone else was "Drunk Skunk," etc. My name tag, however, was the best:

After the play, we went to a very fun bar for a karaoke night. Everything there was entertaining, but the highlight of the night was watching a midget dwarf hobbit leprechaun munchkin pocketpal little person sing Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" in the style of Cartman from South Park. The poor fellow did not stand a chance, as the crowd did not take kindly to anyone making light of Lady Gaga and booed him quite a bit. Fortunately I had my camera.

Spectacular.

We went to see "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind" one of the last times we were in town. It was fantastic!
