". . . and it will find you if you want it to"
Overrated Things, Installment One
- The Matrix - I don't understand the appeal of this film. I walked out of it.
- "Brown-Eyed Girl" - As songs go, it is not so bad. As Van Morrison songs go, it is near the bottom. No one can listen to"Sweet Thing," "Into the Mystic," "I'll Be Your Lover, Too," "Astral Weeks," etc., and then say "Brown-Eyed Girl" even begins to approach the genius of Van Morrison.
- Two and a Half Men - What? This is the number one comedy on TV?
- Chris Farley - Many things that may be funny for 4 minutes on SNL are not funny for 90 minutes in a movie.
- The Doors - Just being on drugs does not make someone a poet.
- MySpace - Yeah, I'm on it, too. But what a shitty interface this is.

disagree, no opinion, agree, agree, disagree, agree.
3 for 5 ain't bad.
Matrix 2 and 3 sucked, but I'll watch the first one anytime.
Yeah I guess Van's had better but I still enjoy Brown eyed girl.
Otherwise, pretty much right on.
Two and a Half Men — What? This is the number one comedy on TV?
Seriously?
Tom, every day you and I have more and more in common.
This may signal the rapture.
yeah i can't say im not concerned.
Tom, if it will help, I will try to spew some ultra-liberal Bush-bashing claptrap so you can regain your bearings and the universe can be in equilibrium again.
nah ill be ok.
According to Mr. Blong, The Matrix is the best movie> His reasoning: it is about a little boy who is afraid of math, but then understands it. When he understands it he can fly and do a bunch of cool crap.
I balked a little at the Van Morrison comment, but then recalled that "Brown-Eyed Girl" is one of the most overplayed and overrated songs ever.
tommy boy anyone? dont hate.
i do remember blong talking about the matrix quite often.... and his boat... and anything else that didn't pertain to math.
