So maybe I shouldn't go back to teaching. Here are some alternate--and safer--career paths I may choose, all of which are currently open positions:
- National Guardsman
- Whitney Houston's husband
- Stingray enthusiast*
- Manager of the Cubs
* Yes, I realize I am going to Hell.

crocodile hunter is also an open position.
That's kind of what I meant by "stingray enthusiast." I thought it would be too obvious to say "Crocodile Hunter."
And please don't misunderstand the point of this post. I am not trying to underplay the heartbreaking story out of Pennsylvania. It is truly one of the saddest, sickest things I have seen on the news in a long time.

I didn't even know there were those other shootings...
its like all these sick people see other school shootings on the news and it finally gives them some way to act out their sick fantasies in a cowardly manner, suitable to them. its just as if nobody thought of it before columbine, now they've all got their outlet.
Well this, this is a fun comment thread.
But at least the Cubs finally fired Dusty Baker, and that is the real news of the day.
