This land is yours, this land is mine

I am heading out tomorrow on a road trip with some friends to see Sufjan Stevens. I am very excited about the show. Apparently he plays a great variety, old and new, and he is backed by a 13-piece band that he is calling the "Chinese Butterfly Brigade." And he wears wings:

I'll have a full report on Sunday.

That is sweet.

And while Sufjan is having his wimpy-ness reaffirmed (I don't mean that in a bad way), I recently discovered that John Darnielle (aka The Mountain Goats); basically the king (again not in a bad way) of whiny depressing songs about girlfriends who broke up with him and/or (killed themselves|became alcoholic)/(made him want to (kill himself|become alcoholic) ; maintains a personal site devoted almost exclusively to mixed-martial-arts and prize-fighting.

Max,
So far I have not utilized the new aspects of New Blogger. I am excited about the labels/tags, but I have not had time to take advantage. Also, if one wanted to customize one's layout, New Blogger provides many more options.
But soon it will be out of beta, and everyone will have to make the switch. So, as with everything, I am very cutting edge.
