Prompted

Having watched several of his victory speeches over the last many weeks, I can say that--politics aside--John McCain may be one of the worst public speakers ever to seek the highest office in the land. Sure, George Bush flubs lines and messes up pronunciations, but John McCain is like a robot who periodically pounds on the podium. The worst part is that he never stops reading the teleprompter. Every once in a while he glances around between lines, but when he talks, he is simply reading a script. You would think that he could prepare a little bit ahead of time, and maybe memorize a line or two. Watching John McCain speak is a bit like watching old clips of Bob Hope on USO tours. Or like watching Saturday Night Live when non-actors try to host.

That is all. Back to my tea and honey.

"Or like watching Saturday Night Live when non-actors try to host."

Pretty sure Peyton Manning was great on SNL.

Only in the commercial parody of the boys and girls club. It is hilarious when kids get hit, and knocked over with balls.
