Trudging back over pebbles and sand

Man, what  blow to politics and journalism.  Every Sunday for years I have looked forward to watching Meet the Press, solely because Tim Russert was one of the best interviewers on television, and he never let the tough questions slide.  Russert helped explain American politics like no one else could.

My Sundays will start off empty now.  And I will definitely miss his white board.
