I'd hit that

I might use many words (and non-words) to describe the outer texture of a piñata:
  • frilly
  • tassely
  • crepe-tastic

So yesterday, one of my students could not remember the word piñata, which led to a very funny, rather inappropriate, highly unfortunate choice of words:

"Mr. W, I cannot remember a word. Can you help me? . . . What do you call those hairy things that hang down."

ugh... yah. That's not usually the best way to describe a piñata.

Dub how old are your students.

I'm trying to re-create the scene in my head here and I need a range to put this kid in. Also boy or girl.

Max, this particular student was a sophomore boy.

Jason, after I stopped laughing, I believe I said, "Ask your health teacher."
