I am disgusted at how Coulter and Sean Hannity used a tv appearence as a chance to bash democrats, and in a sense blame the democrats for the comments Ann made, instead of using the airtime for an apology which definitally was in order.
i have to admit, as witty* as her burn on Edwards was, i was very embarassed for her when i first saw her explanation, although that interviewer was being kind of an idiot, too.
*albeit in a really unprofessional, inappropriate, immature way

Vinnie, I understand her explanation--I just think it is bullshit.
She does not get to decide what a word means, and that word has a very specific meaning and a very specific history. I realize that she has the mentality of a grade-schooler on the playground, so perhaps for her the word is just a "schoolyard taunt," but she cannot say that everyone else in the world except for her and 2nd grade bullies are the ones misusing the word.
Tom, Hannity is not the man. Come to the alley behind my apartment and we will discuss Hannity if you know what I mean.
