Norwegian Impl. Co.

I went to my friend Bonnie's wedding this weekend. It was pretty fun, and I was the dj at the reception. It was fun to be spinning the tunes again, though not many people stayed very long, so there were not many people dancing. But some of my friends were there, so that made it fun.

But on the drive home, I took some back country roads so I could enjoy the drive. First, I came across the town of Norway, Illinois, the oldest Norwegian settlement in the country. Minnesota has nothing on Illinois. (Well, at least it terms of early Norwegian settlements.)

But I also drove by this, so I had to pull over:

My first thought was that it was a memorial to commemorate some sort of plane crash. But no!

There you have it.
