Blow-up Army men and other corn-related treats
Here are some highlights from CornFest:
We stayed for five minutes at the concert. They did not play "Eye of the Tiger" in those five minutes, so we left.
When "Eye of the Tiger" came out, which I think was in the summer between fourth and fifth grade, my brother, cousin, and I spent the summer at our grandparents' house, where we watched MTV constantly. "Eye of the Tiger" became our favorite song, and so we decided that one of us always had to be on "Eye of the Tiger" Watch. What this meant was that someone always had to be in the TV room in case that awesome video came on. So when it was lunch time, for example, two of us would go upstairs and eat while one would stay behind. And if EOTT came on, the sentry would yell to the other two upstairs.
But despite this emotional connection, I did not stay and watch Survivor.

Dub, how can you enjoy yourself when your irony detector is set so high?
That shirt is pretty awesome though.
My detector does not have to be set very high at a Survivor concert at CornFest in DeKalb.
i have that foam corn hat
The t-shirt says, "Pray Hard." I imagine the image of the person with holes in the pants at the knees means that the person prayed so hard (kneeling, as only good Christians can and should) that he/she wore the knees out of their pants.
That would be my guess. It's a stupid t-shirt.
I also saw some guy wearing a t-shirt that was advertising some kind of assault rifle. And the slogan above the picture of the gun was "When negotiations fail."
God Bless America.
"Sandy Candy" sounds like the single greatest invention in snacking history.
I have a picture of that same girl with the funny corn hat. Alas, I missed Survivor, but got some pics of Howard and the White Boys, less-heralded, but just as ass-kickin'.
