Free flooring
Those of you who do not live in the Chicago area miss out on some of the best local commercials ever produced, namely the ads for Luna Carpet. These ads have a long history of stupid cheesiness, but the ad that currently runs in heavy rotation (I see this ad 10 times a day) really takes the prize for awesome awfulness.
Please watch, and you will see that the actor in this commercial really should win a prize. The highlight of course is his pseudo-Tom Petty impression at the 17-second mark and his odd reaction when the woman throws popcorn at him, but I also find something very intriguing about the strange look he gives the flooring man at the 27-second mark.

id you know that I bought an area rug from Empire for the house on Whitney in Joliet just before you were born?
Ahh, Empire. Another set of fine commercials...
They are pretty much the same. You invite them to your house, and the WILL NOT LEAVE until you buy flooring.
That's pretty good, but it's no Eagle Man!
