Willy-nilly Caps

I had my last official class of the semester last night, so now I have a 15 page paper to write and two tests next week, which is Finals Week. I'll be spending this whole weekend working on the paper, I guess. Procrastination is the way of the student, after all.

I cannot believe this semester has gone by so quickly. I'll have a more interesting and introspective restropective after I am finished with everything next week.

Completely unrelated, for some reason I recently thought if this classic Dubya quotation from last year, and could not stop laughing:
Free societies are hopeful societies. And free societies will be allies against these hateful few who have no conscience, who kill at the whim of a hat. --Sep. 17, 2004

This is quite obvious an allusion to the terrorists at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

SORTING HAT.

For sure! It has whims. It makes these really long, rhyming songs that are slightly humorous and slightly disturbing at the same time, because, you know, a hat is singing and all.

But those books are too advanced for him to have read.

i find the quote insignificant, and think that you should get going on your schoolwork immediately.

pfff (in a high-pitched botard type of noise). The ENTIRE weekend W?? really? c'mon. Sunday night, that is the true procrasinators time. Unless you are hardcore like me and do it Monday morning, right before class....or skip morning classes to finish.

I guess it is a good thiing that I didn't claim the quote was significant then, huh?

I got 9 pages written this afternoon.

Nah Dub. Just change Voldemort to Bin Laden, and Harry Potter to "Delta Force" and we're pretty much good.

I remember in sixth grade when I first read Harry Potter my first impression was why the fuck is this hat singing? Is he under enchantment by a wizard?

I meant to say obviously.

Are you joking Parker? Harry wouldn't be Delta Force. Him and Ron obviously represent the Navy, while Snape is in fact Delta Force.

Man, I thought of the Sorting Hat right away too. But I think that if I were a Sorting Hat, I'd be pretty homocidal, too.
